SLIP MATTER started with a simple idea: the slipmat that comes with your turntable is, at best, boring — and at worst, ugly. Most replacement options aren't much better. Printed band logos. Stock optical illusions. Generic designs that look like an afterthought.

We thought the thing sitting on your platter — the thing you see every time you put on a record — should be worth looking at. So we started making slipmats with original artwork. Designs that feel like they belong in your setup, not slapped onto it.

We started this company to fill a gap we saw in the vinyl world: high-quality slip mats that sound amazing, feel right, and actually look good in your space. Every SLIP MATTER mat is double-sided, printed on high-quality 21 oz. felt, and made in the USA. The artwork is integrated directly into the felt — it won't scratch your vinyl, won't peel, won't fade.
